1 | Sponge cake: whisk eggs and butter until stiff peaks form. Sift soft flour and fold in beaten egg gently. Then fold in melted butter. Pre-heat oven and bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.After baking, turn cake over and leave to cool. |
2 | Combination: soften cream cheese at room temperature, add in caster sugar and stir until smooth, add melted butter and mix well. |
3 | Crumble cake, add in cream cheese mixture, mix and knead a dough.Press and cut dough into star shape and chill for 30 minutes. |
4 | Dip pop sticks into chocolate coating and then insert into the middle of the cake stars and leave for 15 minutes. |
5 | Melt chocolate over hot water. Dip cake stars into chocolate coating. Leave to dry and coat in decoration when cake stars are 80% dry. |
